|Name: Jeff Bumgarner|
|All State Player|
Jeff Bumgarner had an amazing athletic career at Hanford High School, lettering in football, basketball, and baseball. Baseball was particularly rewarding for Jeff. He was not only All-State his senior year, but was the number one drafted high school pitcher in the country. Jeff signed with the Minnesota Twins and played eight years of professional baseball.
During Jeff's senior year which the Falcons captured the 1985 State Championship, he had an 10-0 record as a pitcher with an astonishing earned run average (ERA) of 0.28 with 132 strikeouts over 78 innings. Jeff was the Falcon team's Most Valuable Player (MVP), All Mid-Valley League MVP, All-State, and was selected as a high school All-American. His three-year varsity career included pitching three no-hitters. Truly one of the top Falcon student-athletes to graduate from Hanford High School.
