Chuck Wagner   Golf Coach 1973 to Present

Rain or shine, winter or summer, Chuck Wagner can be found on the golf course. Known as the "Dean of the Mid-Valley League Golf Coaches", Coach Wagner has served as Hanford High School's first and only Boy's golf coach. From 1973 to 1987, Coach Wagner assumed the dual role as girls' coach as well. Over his career, Chuck's golf teams have won numerous league and district titles and won many State awards.

Chuck's admiration of the game has been passed on to his former players as several have included golf as a major factor in career choices. Some of Chuck's golfers went on to play at the collegiate level as well as the professional tours. These players can now be seen operating golf shops throughout the Pacific Northwest. Chuck's sacrifices to the Hanford High School golf program have led to a lasting impression on all people he has worked with over the years. Truly another Falcon legend.
