Randy Young   Baseball Class of 1989

Randy Young led the Falcon baseball team in hitting his senior season with a .471 average, 31 RBIs, and 3 homeruns. Randy had the natural athletic ability that made him an outstanding baseball player. The baseball would jump off his bat, hitting line drives like a professional player. His throwing arm and defensive range made him an outstanding shorstop. Randy was highly recruited by a number of college programs during his senior season.

Hanford played in their third State Championship series in 1989, largely on the talent of the senior players led by Randy Young. Randy was an All-Mid-Valley League seletion and played in the State Feeder games where his talent led him to play in the Washington State All-State games. Randy Young was one of the Falcons' finest.
