Shane Bishop   Football Class of 1995

Shane was one of the fiercest competitors ever to wear a Hanford football uniform. He never gave the opponents an inch, recording 5 sacks and 22 solo tackles in his senior year. The defense he led set the school record for fewest yards allowed. He was a strong leader by example and he was voted captain by his teammates. Starting at center and defensive tackle, he earned all conference at both positions by unanimous selection by the opposing coaches. This excellence was noticed by other coaches throughout the State and led to his being voted to play in the All-State game. He was also a three-year starter for the Varsity baseball team. Shane was a fine young man on and off the field and another great example of a Falcon student-athlete.
