Jackie Travis Softball Class of 2005Jackie was a four year varsity player at Hanford. She was a mainstay at catcher for the Falcons receiving numerous awards for her play. One of the fastest players ever, Jackie brought an explosive level of excitement to the Mid-Valley League (MVL). She was a three year All-Conference award winner and was the MVL Player of the Year in her senior season of 2005. Jackie made the All-State team twice in her high school career, the first being in ’03 when she helped her team to a 27-1 record while winning the state championship. In ’05 Jackie was selected again as she hit an even .500 (42-84) for the season. Jackie caught pitchers who acquired 94 victories in four years. This is a testimony to her catching skills. Jackie went on to play at Columbia Basin Community College.
